Amelia Scott Museum
Last Friday, Form 5 enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Amelia Scott museum. The children learnt all about the history of our local area, including how Tunbridge Wells earned its 'Royal' title and the many inspirational people who have lived there. They explored how these individuals showed kindness, bravery and brilliance. The pupils took part in two engaging museum trails, handled real artefacts and immersed themselves in a variety of drama activities. Working collaboratively in teams, they created amusing freeze-frames to depict one of the inspirational figures they studied. The class also enjoyed ten minutes in the beautiful library, where they made friends with some lovely toddlers who were very interested in what they were reading! It was a wonderful visit, and Form 5 demonstrated superb behaviour, enthusiasm and teamwork throughout. Well done, Form 5!
