About the Area

An increasing number of Hilden Oaks parents have moved to Tonbridge and the surrounding villages from London, or from further afield. Tonbridge is a busy town with good rail and road links to London and Europe. Surrounded by rolling countryside, the area provides a popular environment for young families to live and thrive in.

During term, the school opens at 7.45am and closes at 6.00pm for Prep and Pre-Prep and 6.15pm for the Nursery, so we are able to accommodate families where parents work in London, as well as those who work locally in and around Tonbridge. The year-round childcare we offer means that we can help make families’ moves from London almost seamless.

There are at least four trains an hour from Tonbridge station, travelling in to Charing Cross, London Bridge and Cannon Street. Trains take from 45 minutes.
