1:1 SEND Assistant (Part-time)

We are seeking a SEND assistant to work 1:1, part time, 3 days per week, term time only, with a child for two years through Year 5 and Year 6.

You would be working in a small class of 20 children in a purposeful and quiet learning environment, supporting all areas of the primary curriculum. Under the guidance of the class teacher, you would be enabling and inspiring a young person to engage with the curriculum, adapting it where necessary to respond to their needs. You would maintain close liaisons with supportive and understanding family, and rapidly be welcomed into our kind and happy teaching team. An understanding of high functioning ASC/ASD is desirable.
