Wrap-around Care
At Hilden Oaks we pride ourselves on being a family school but it is not only about the school day. We offer a number of out-of-hours activities both during term-time and in the holidays, providing care for children for 50 weeks of the year.
During term-time, children of all ages may be dropped off from 7.45 am, then following the school day, may be collected up until 6.00 pm, having been given tea. A variety of after-school clubs are laid on for the school-age children. These allow our children a chance to wind down or do homework after the formal school day has ended, allowing parents time to pick children up from school after work.

Lunchtime &
After-School Clubs
There are many extra-curricular clubs and activities on offer during morning break, lunch-time and after school including a wide range of musical, creative and sporting activities. These clubs vary each term and our children are encouraged to sign up for as many or as few as they wish.
Many of the clubs are run by our own teaching staff, and we also bring in specialists from outside to allow our children to enjoy as wide a range of clubs as much as possible. Children from Form 1 to Form 6 who are keen to extend and advance their sporting skills are encouraged to take part in extra-curricular clubs.
These vary from term to term, and include badminton, fencing, POP lacrosse, netball, golf, hockey, cross country, cricket, athletics, private tennis coaching, tag rugby, and bike skills.
