Hero or Villain

Form 5 enjoyed a good debate during their history lesson this week. They have been learning about Oliver Cromwell in their topic on the Stuarts. He is interpreted in different ways in history so they debated if he was a hero or villain, and why. The children were very passionate and did not like the fact that he banned Christmas!
