Big Cat Sanctuary

Reception visited the Big Cat Sanctuary to learn how the Sanctuary helps conserve the natural habitats of 40 species of wild cats and provides an enriching environment where some cats can retire after their working lives. The children met Willow the cheetah, who demonstrated just how quickly she could run. They also encountered a very handsome male lion, who now spends his days relaxing, after retiring from the circus.
