Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve

Form 2 had a fantastic trip to Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve this week as part of their science learning on plants. The reserve staff were incredibly impressed by the children's technical vocabulary as they built and described the different parts of a plant. They also carried out an investigation into which flower colours insects might prefer and enjoyed a Forest School session, exploring the woods, taking part in scavenger hunts, and practising their fire-lighting skills using flint and steel. The children showed great perseverance throughout the day and were rightly proud of their achievements. The staff commented that Form 2's behaviour was some of the best they had seen and that they were an absolute delight to work with. Well done, Form 2, for demonstrating our school values so brilliantly both in and out of the classroom!
