Scotney Castle
What a fantastic day Form 1 had at Scotney Castle, last Friday, despite the drizzly weather! Our Form 1 children ventured out to explore the stunning castle, its beautiful grounds, and the play area in their waterproofs. It was a brilliant opportunity for them to develop their map work skills while using their senses to investigate the wonders of seasonal change around them.
The little explorers were particularly keen on spotting the changes in the trees — they kept an eye out for those magnificent oak trees and even kept a tally! They eagerly ticked off both human and physical features on their tick sheets, transforming a dreary day into one filled with discovery. We are so proud of their enthusiasm and curiosity! They showed many of our school values and the general public commented on their fantastic behaviour.
