Safety Day

On Tuesday, our pupils enjoyed a wonderfully informative day off-timetable to explore all aspects of safety. They covered topics ranging from fire safety to practising good road safety; basic first aid through to food safety; understanding what is meant by consent, and learning how to stay safe when out and about. Some of the Pre-Prep pupils had a visit from the police, and all the children attended an assembly from the Kent Air Ambulance, who taught us how they keep everyone safe and what we can do to help them. The Mayor of Tonbridge even joined us to explain how he helps keep the borough safe. All in all, it was an excellent day that encouraged the children to think about staying safe at all times.
