Lent Term School Council
Our Head Boy and Head Girl have been doing an excellent job welcoming this term’s School Council representatives. Drawing on their experience from last term, they have been supporting the representatives from Forms 1 - 6, by explaining the responsibilities of the role, particularly the importance of representing the views of their peers.
Last term saw the successful return of the much-requested chocolate cookies, and this term the focus continues on exploring ways to introduce more play opportunities into the playground. Popular ideas include a mud kitchen and a slide, alongside practical suggestions such as stepping stones across the grass to improve access during wet weather.
Children are encouraged to continue discussing ideas within their classes and to share their suggestions with the School Council through their Form Representatives, or directly with the Head Boy or Head Girl, reinforcing the importance of 'pupil voice' in shaping school life.
