With a number of events in the calendar for the same day, we decided to hold our inaugural Fathers' Breakfast to welcome dads to the school, and to make the most of their mornings off work...
We welcomed 64 people from 26 families for breakfast in the School Hall. Lisa prepared bacon butties and chocolate croissants, which went down very well - and very quickly!
The breakfast took place on 24th June - the morning following the Referendum vote - and the atmosphere in the Hall was very lively, with much to discuss.
Following breakfast, the Transition fathers headed off to their children's Moving Up Ceremony.
We plan to hold a Mothers' Breakfast next academic year, and hope that as many mums as possible will attend.
