Skern Lodge 2025

Form 6 really enjoyed their residential trip to Skern Lodge, in North Devon, last week. All the children and teachers had a wonderful time, and loved experiencing a wide range of new activities, which were a mix of water-based, land-based and problem-solving tasks.

We are very proud of how all the children adapted to being away from home and how they coped with all the challenges that the new activities presented; demonstrating the Hilden Oaks values of courage, confidence, resilience, perseverance and excellence throughout. They were also, of course, Kind, Brave and Brilliant!

Huge thanks go to the brilliant team at Skern Lodge for all they did to make the trip so fantastic.
