Leeds Castle
As part of their topic on British Monarchs, Form 2 had an unforgettable day at Leeds Castle. From stepping into character during a whirlwind drama workshop covering nearly 1,000 years of royal history, to exploring parts of the castle not usually open to the public, our pupils truly walked in the footsteps of kings and queens.
Each child took on the role of a different monarch or historical figure—complete with costumes!—bringing history to life in the most engaging way. The day ended with plenty of fun and laughter in the castle’s impressive fort play area.
Their brilliant behaviour, curiosity, and teamwork shone through the day, proudly reflecting our Hilden Oaks values. Well done, Form 2!
