Primary Maths Challenge Bonus Round Success

Congratulations to three Hilden Oaks pupils who have been awarded bronze and silver awards in the national Primary Maths Challenge Bonus Round.

In November 2023, the Maths Association conducted the first round of the Primary Mathematics Challenge, which saw the participation of over 64,000 students across the country. Following the first round, they invited students who scored 20 or above to participate in the Bonus Round, a more challenging paper, held in February 2024.
This year, 4,500 students nationwide made it through to the Bonus Round, including three from Hilden Oaks. Following this Bonus Round, the Maths Association awarded 1187 Bronze Awards and only 767 Silver Awards.

To achieve two bronze and one silver award respectively is a fantastic result for our pupils, and we are extremely proud of their success in this national competition.
