Nursery & Pre-School
"Staff use extremely positive language reflecting the values in British Society, such as 'respectful' and 'caring'. Children have many excellent opportunities to make their own decisions and understand right from wrong. They take turns and learn to be fair." - ISI Inspector, December 2017
The Hilden Oaks Nursery is an integral part of Hilden Oaks School offering outstanding, unique and flexible care for children from the age of three months. We understand that parents want to give their child the best possible start in life, and our vibrant and nurturing nursery environment provides a gentle introduction to school life, allowing children to progress seamlessly through to more formal schooling.
Our staff are fully qualified, and the children enjoy exceptional levels of staffing care with a high ratio of staff to children. We are committed to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) themes and principles, focusing on the development of the whole child.
Hilden Oaks is very much a family environment, with the Nursery forming an integral part of the school. Parents and friends are actively encouraged to take part in pre-school life either by joining our Parent & Toddler group or one of the events organised by the Friends of Hilden Oaks, or by bringing their children in to take part in extra curricular activities such as Ball Skills, Ballet or Music.
We work closely with parents, making sure that staff are always available at pick-up and drop-off times to discuss their concerns, and to share the events of their child’s day. Our Home Contact books are an important means of communication between parents and staff.
The best way to see how our fabulous Nursery can work for your child is for you to come and visit us either at our weekly Parent & Toddler group or by making an appointment at a time that suits you.
We look forward to seeing you.
