Welcome toHilden OaksPreparatory School & Nursery

On Wednesday 11th March, the Hilden Oaks U10Bs won their section of the Walthamstow Hall Netball Tournament.

The team of determined girls played a total of eight matches during the course of the afternoon, and went from strength to strength. The matches were only eight minutes each way, so the girls had to focus right from the start to ensure victories.

Arabella, our Centre, started the matches with panache, passing to attacking players Hannah, Freya and Nicole. They perfected their sequencing, getting play quickly to shooters Lauren and Rose. Defenders Mia, Amelia, Eleanor and Hope put in impressive performances, and their hard work ensured that we let in very few goals.

The semis and the finals were particularly tense matches, but the girls kept their cool and fought with great positivity to overcome the opposition.

Mrs Sizer, Head of Games, said: “I am delighted and extremely proud with how well the girls played. They really pulled together as a team and the fantastic outcome was thoroughly deserved.”
