Year 6 Sayers Croft Residential Trip
At the end of April, the Year 6s went on a residential trip to Sayers Croft, a 56 acre site of woodlands, meadows, ponds and fields which provides outdoor experiences for young people.
Mrs Reeves headed up the staff team ably supported by Mrs Flawn and Mr Moor. The group was blessed with dry weather for most of the trip, and spent their days at Sayers Croft exploring their surroundings through varied and challenging activities, and getting involved in team building exercises.
Activities included: blindfold trail, identifying flowers and trees, a night walk, pond dipping, caving, high ropes, building a camp fire and shelter-building, to name but a few.
The girls had a wonderful time, and staff reported that they were the best behaved Hilden Oaks group ever to go there!
