We currently have a vacancy for a:

PART TIME ICT TECHNICIAN

The ICT technician will provide day-to-day IT support for teaching and administration staff and take an active lead in promoting safeguarding and e-Safety within the school. They will assist the Head in ensuring the school fulfils its responsibilities under the Data Protection Act and assist the Marketing Manager in maintaining content on the school's website.

The ICT technician is responsible for the maintenance and installation of hardware, software and peripheral devices to meet the school's changing needs, with advice from the existing external Network Manager.

Candidates should have:

  • 2 or more years' hands on experience with the administration of a network with Windows Server 2008 or 2012 and 30+ Windows 7 clients - including installation and maintenance of software and peripherals, Security, Permissions, AD, GPO, WSUS, WDS
  • Ability to conduct minor hardware repairs, e.g. changing an HDD
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010
  • Technical experience of wired and wireless networking in a business environment (Technologies such as IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs)
  • Awareness of e-Safety issues and their impact on both staff and children

Experience of working within a school environment is desirable but not essential.

EARLY YEARS PRACITIONER

Our warm and friendly Independent Preparatory School is looking for enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to work in our Pre-School which caters for children from the age of 3 months. Candidates should ideally be qualified to NVQ Level 3 and interested in further training.

These posts are full / part time, year round / term time. Hours and salary to be discussed. Interested candidates should complete the Support Staff Application Form and send it with covering letter to the Headmistress, Mrs Webb by the closing date of Friday 30th January 2015.

PART TIME RECEPTIONIST

We are looking for a Part Time Receptionist to work between the hours of 3.30pm-6.45pm all year round. The Receptionist will be responsible for liaising with parents, managing the safe collection of children and for some administrative work. Interested candidates should be personable and have good communication skills.

This post is part time all year round. Salary to be discussed. Interested candidates should complete the Support Staff Application Form and send it with covering letter to the Headmistress, Mrs Webb by the closing date of Friday 30th January 2015.
